Treasure chamber of the Basilica of Our Lady

This treasure chamber also contains a great many artefacts of religious art and craftsmanship, including richly embroidered copes and chasubles, the so-called “Levietenkleed” (Levite’s Robe) of St. Lambertus, the next-to-last Bishop of Maastricht, relics in beautiful holders, procession banners, church silver, statues and much more. The artefacts are exhibited in the cloister of the “Slevrouwe” (as the basilica is commonly referred to by the locals).
